Basketball

Basketball is a game played between two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to score points by shooting a ball through a 10-foot-high hoop defended by the opposing team. The team with the most points when the game clock expires wins.If one makes their schools varsity team, their membership will be highly valued by top colleges as they all want good players to come and play for their college team.  Making the varsity team gives one the chance to become the team captain of their sport which shows how much they accel in their sport  and this stands out to top colleges.
